Cosmopolitan Renaissance
Art has forever been a crucial element in every human society. Art entices people to social thinking. It invites them in a specific
way to ponder things yet invisible, leading to a new revolution. This is part of what I call; the Cosmopolitan Renaissance.
Crucial in this philosophy is a dialogue with the old masters. Why them? As Yeats said in his poem Musée des
Beaux Arts “About suffering they were never wrong, The Old Masters: how well they understood its human position, how it
takes place.” Suffering and struggling are at the core of our existence. And so inspired by the past, by the culture that has
preceded us and that we carry within us, we show the possibility of a new evolution, leaving free the imagination and the
creative power of our mind. In this way, my artworks become a bridge between past and future, a stimulus to rebirth.
A new world in which we must find a new order to live collectively together. In this new order, we must recognize each other.
